Sign-in methods, viewing active sessions and signing out.

Overview

Signing in to the platform is designed so you never have to memorize a password. When you enter your email address, a secure sign-in link is sent to you; you sign in either by clicking that link or by entering the one-time code that arrives in your inbox. This removes the risk of forgotten or stolen passwords, and sign-in always relies on the security of your email account.

Once you sign in, your session stays open on that device, so you do not have to sign in again every time. You can sign in from multiple devices (for example, a work computer, a home computer and a phone); each device is recorded as a separate session. From the Active Sessions section on your profile page, you can see all of these sessions and close any session you do not recognize or no longer use with a single click.

This section lets you see who is connected to your account and from where, keeping your security in your own hands. If you notice suspicious access, you can immediately close that session or all sessions except the current device.

Who uses it

  • All users: Sign in by email to access the platform and manage their own sessions.
  • Security-conscious users: Regularly review their active sessions and close devices they do not recognize.
  • People using multiple devices: Switch between work and personal devices and remotely end a session on a device they no longer use.

Session management applies to everyone; it requires no special permission. Everyone sees and manages only the sessions of their own account.

Step-by-step process

  1. Enter your email address. On the sign-in screen, type your email address and submit it.
  2. Check your inbox. A sign-in link and a one-time code are sent to you. Sign in by clicking the link or by entering the code on screen.
  3. Your session opens. When sign-in succeeds, you are taken to the dashboard. Your session stays open on that device; when you return a short while later, you do not have to sign in again.
  4. View your active sessions. On the profile page, go to the Active Sessions section. Here, all devices where your account is open are listed along with their last-seen time and connection details. The session you are currently using is marked as “This device”.
  5. Close a session. Click the “Sign out” option next to a device you do not recognize or no longer use. Access on that device ends immediately.
  6. Close all other sessions if needed. In a suspicious situation, use the “Sign out of all other sessions” option to end every session except the one you are on, all at once. The other devices will need to sign in again.

Frequently asked questions

How do I sign in — do I need a password? No password is required. When you enter your email address, a secure sign-in link and a one-time code are sent to you. You sign in by clicking the link or entering the code. This method removes the risk of forgotten or stolen passwords.

What should I do if the sign-in link does not arrive? First, make sure you typed your email address correctly and check your junk/spam folder. The link is valid for a short time; if it has expired, you can request a new one from the sign-in screen.

What is an active session? Each device you sign in from is recorded as a separate active session. This lets you see which devices your account is open on. The session you are currently using is marked as “This device”.

What should I do if I see a session I do not recognize? Click the “Sign out” option next to that session to immediately end access on that device. To be sure of your security, you can also use the “Sign out of all other sessions” option.

What happens when I close a session? Access on that device ends immediately, and that device will need to sign in again. Closing a session affects only the session you selected; the session you are currently on stays open.

Can I sign in from multiple devices at the same time? Yes. You can be signed in from multiple devices at once, such as a work computer, a home computer and a phone. Each is listed as a separate session, and you can close any one of them individually.
